01Which media does it monitor?+
Online print press and radio stations captured live and transcribed, from all 19 departments — both included in every plan, with no charge per outlet or per department. Tracking your spokespeople on X is added separately, depending on the plan. If an outlet or station is missing, you request it from the app and we add it to your coverage.
02How do you keep mentions that aren't mine from reaching me?+
Nexo searches only for what you set up —your name, its variants, your spokespeople and your topics— and never makes up terms on its own. Before showing you a story it has to point out which of your terms appeared and in which sentence; if it can't, it doesn't show it to you. And under “Don't confuse with” you list the cases that look like you but aren't: if your brand is Aurora, the Aurora neighborhood will never reach you. It can suggest an issue when it sees it appearing next to you again and again, but it's a suggestion: it captures nothing until you adopt it.
03Can I follow topics that don't name me?+
Yes, and it's one of the most useful things: you add “blackout” or “electricity rates” as radar topics and the story comes in even if they don't mention you. Every mention tells you whether it came in through your name, a spokesperson or a topic, so you always know what you're reading.
04How do I find out when something happens?+
In each radar you set up your own alerts, choosing what interrupts you and through which channel: for example, “if it's important, alert me on WhatsApp” or “if they criticize us in a headline, send me an email.” Everything else waits for you in the monitor and in the morning briefing, without your phone going off.
05Can I compare my presence with my competitors'?+
Yes. You add your competitors to the radar and the comparison appears: what percentage of everything published talks about you and what percentage about them (what communications people call share of voice). Competitors are counted only for that comparison: they never generate mentions or alerts for you, so they don't fill your monitor with other people's news.
06How long does it take to get started?+
The same day. You create your radar and Nexo sweeps backward so the monitor starts with history, not empty. The next day your first morning briefing arrives.
07How do you measure sentiment, and why should I believe you?+
Every mention is classified into one of thirteen ways of talking about someone, and the classification comes with the passage that backs it up: if you disagree, you see it and correct it. What's directed at someone else —anger at the regulator, criticism of the union— isn't counted as yours. And below 25 classified mentions the number appears dimmed and labeled, because with a small sample it isn't data: it's chance. We'd rather tell you that than give you a figure that doesn't hold up.
